Dani - the - Poet

Dani, is a powerhouse of a spoken word artist, writer, & performance poet. Her novel, The Rantings of Dani, was published in June 2010. As a survivor of physical & sexual abuse as a child, a disabled veteran, & single mother successfully raising two daughters, Dani realizes that words help even if they don't completely heal. And by sharing words, she hopes to not only have an outlet for herself, but to bring something real that all of her audience can relate to & understand. She apologizes to no one for her honesty & issues only one disclaimer when it comes to the reading of her work:"Read, but don't take offense. Absorb, but don't judge. These are my words... not yours."
