 Biography  Adrian Long founded Checkmate 360 Marketing and Entertainment to offer a different perspective in todays social climate. Checkmate 360 M and E is becoming the source for essential information about social events, meeting planning and event planning, and business entertaining in Charlotte, Atlanta, Columbia, SC; and Greenville, SC. From 1999 until 2005, Adrian served as the Associate Technical Director for Clemson University where he gained the critical expertise needed for event planning, rigging and stage production. Adrian over saw the stage requirements and show operations for such artists as OutKast, Wide Spread Panic, Hoobastank, O.A.R., Ludacris, 3 Doors Down, Angie Stone, Ciara, Dave Chappelle just to name a few. His areas of expertise include: - Event Security
- Hospitality, Catering and Runners
- Production (stage, video, sound, lights, special effects)
- Equipment and Event Rentals (chairs, forklift, tents, porta-poties, trash cans)
- Stage Hands/Set and Strike Crews
- Transportation
- Merchandise Sales.
In addition to special event coordination, he also provided logistical support for all daily operations throughout the campus and immediate area. In addition, from 2003 until 2005, Adrian served as head of security and logistics manager for Bentley Sports Bar and Grill in Greenville, SC. There Adrian worked with such acts as Bobby Valentino, Kat Williams, KC and Jo Jo, of Jodeci, Keith Sweat and many more. |
